Radio Times
Since 1923, Radio Times has been the nation's entertainment guide. Today, with audiences drowning in choice and grappling with ‘Entertainment Anxiety,’ we were tasked with revitalising the brand for a new generation.
We crafted a bold new positioning around the promise that Radio Times always knows ‘What’s Worth Watching’ and refreshed its visual identity to honour its rich heritage while boldly stepping into the future.
What we did:
- Brand positioning
- Language and tone of voice
- Visual identity
- Logo/ masthead
(in conjunction with typographer Rob Clarke) - Brand motion design & direction
- Brand guidelines
- Activation concepts
Repositioning Radio Times as the antidote to too much entertainment choice and the endless scrolling for something decent to watch.
Evolving the identity to celebrate the heritage whilst looking confidently to the future.

The new tone of voice is designed to bring a sense of playfulness and joy to the brand.

The searchlight graphic device symbolises the brand’s power to shine a light on What’s Worth Watching.

Why Projects helped reimagine the future role of Radio Times and brought that vision to life through a clever, striking, and impactful visual identity. Working with Nick and Stephen has truly been one of the highlights of my career.
